Paperless Office - The Myth
Presented by Lauren Hession, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Consultant Xerox Corp.
Tuesday, October 23rd, 1:15-2:15 Main Stage.
After years of hype, the ability to get paper into electronic format and manage it effectively is here and in full force. As more companies adopt an electronic document management model, one important lesson must be learned: the more information shared electronically, creates a greater demand for document output. Paperless, doesn’t mean less prints and copies, it means you need to master document efficiency as more information is distributed in the work place to drive consistent excellence in document retrieval, management and backup. In other words, it's not nearly enough to just be ""paperless"", but overall “paper efficient”. True document management is an information highway that requires an effective and cost efficient entry ramp and exit ramp. This session will share practical advice and proven best practices for maximizing the “paperless office” drawn from the most comprehensive research and consulting practice in the industry.
Biography: Lauren has held a variety of roles during her 15 year tenure with Xerox. Her career began as a lead Design Engineer on the Production Products suite. After earning an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing she worked in the Xerox Supplies Organization as a Business Marketing Manager, eventually moving into the role of National Sales Operations Manager. Lauren continued her career in the Supplies organization leading and developing the E-Business and Tele Web strategy. Upon successful implementation of this assignment Lauren moved into a Regional Sales Manager role selling Xerox Production Equipment in the Eastern Region. Lauren has completed her certification as a Black Belt in the Lean Six Sigma Organization and is currently engaged as a consultant on various strategic projects within Xerox.

How to Build & Deliver a HaaS Model
Presented by Ramsey Dellinger, President, MSP On Demand, LLC.
Wednesday, October 24th, 1:00-2:00 Main Stage
Hardware-as-a-Service (HaaS) is the next generation of the technology delivery model which introduces hardware and infrastructure in a consumption-based model. More Technology Companies and end customers alike are looking for ways to bring hardware into the IT-as-a-Service equation. HaaS completes the equation of delivering IT as a utility, strengthens the service offering, and cements the customer bond. HaaS can slash the IT infrastructure costs of SMBs while providing new, recurring and predictable cost structures. In this forward looking presentation you'll get the scoop on this fast growing, ultra hot segment within the Technology industry. Find out how Ramsey Dellinger, a successful Entrepreneur and Technology Strategist, has created an evolutionary HaaS model that has turned into a thriving business in a scant 2 years.
Biography: Ramsey Dellinger, President, MSP on Demand Ramsey has been described a “visionary”, “pioneer”, and “a wildly successful N-able partner”. He has the distinction of being quoted in CRN and is one of N-able’s first partners to turn a profit from day-one. More than anything, he is passionate about helping other resellers take control of their business instead of kowtowing to outside forces. Ramsey lives his ‘take charge, get control’ attitude; and has packaged this into MSP on Demand, his latest business venture. His company provides a groundbreaking system that enables resellers that are focused on a managed services model, to quickly exploit the potential of hardware as a service (HaaS). Ramsey’s unique HaaS model is an extension of his personal philosophy, if not a crusade, to find profitable and effective ways of enabling other resellers to take real charge of their managed services business. He is fueled by his own first hand experiences as a reseller where manufacturers seemed to hold all the cards and dictate the decisions and direction a reseller’s business had to take. Today, through MSP on Demand, Ramsey is passing on his hard earned lessons and more importantly offers a practical and proven vehicle that allows MSPs to take unprecedented control of their business and to dramatically improve their profitability through a groundbreaking new HaaS model. A business visionary and quintessential entrepreneur, Ramsey started out as a music major in college before becoming fascinated with business structure, finance and different business models. Today he is making music of a very different kind. In addition to being the founder and president of MSP on Demand, Ramsey is also the owner of a Maaco franchise and a small construction company. His overriding promise and commitment to attendees at the N-able Partner Summit is to show other like minded business people who are focused on the MSP model how they can profit handsomely from the next logical evolution of IT-as-a service, and feel proud about how they do that.
