Alex will discuss the current industry solutions for decreasing online conversions as well as their limitations. Biography:Velaro’s President, Alex Bloom, has over 15 years of experience in the software business, starting at IBM, Smith Corona and General Electric in New York. In 1994, he moved to Maryland and was a founding employee at Sequoia Software Corporation laying the early foundation for IPO. After selling his network services management company, 180 Net Incorporated, Alex joined Velaro. After four years of implementing solutions to hundreds of Velaro’s customers, Alex is an industry thought leader in understanding the online conversion process for all kinds of web sites, from e-commerce to specialty sites.

Welcome to the new world of 802.11n. 802.11n will bring higher data rates, longer range and more reliable coverage than previous Wi-Fi technology; it represents a significant upgrade in WLAN performance. However, the migration to 802.11n poses some challenges as migration strategies will require careful planning and patience. 802.11n includes a number of technological advances.

Biography:Gene Howell has been a VMware advocate and has used ESX server since early 2004. He's had experiences with installations as small as two hosts to large datacenters with multiple clusters. During this time, he's focused on disaster recovery, server and cluster sizing, roll-outs and tools to compliment the base functionality in VI3. He's very excited about where VMware and virtualization is today and where it's headed in the future.
