Description: D.I.S.C. Imaging Systems introduces their affordable Internet-based Document Management Technology - DocsServer. DocsServer provides global access with centralized software distribution and incorporates technologies such as ASP, XML and SQL Server with Workflow (Trigger Events). Document images may be retrieved via Internet Explorer with highly controlled remote access and an extremely user-friendly interface.

DocsServer was developed and deployed to utilize that latest in XML Technology with an extremely thin interface. Document images are remotely scanned and indexed via the DocsServer Batch Scan module. This module was developed to provide an affordable high-speed input interface for capturing document images and indexes with unique Patch Codes. The Patch Codes automatically creates folders for indexing and auto assigning Document Types. An extremely valuable feature of the DocsServer design is for distributed data capture and storage. This unique design allows storing scanned images locally at a remote client site for extremely quick document retrievals while sharing the indexing information throughout the enterprise. Scanned images may be also stored at the central DocsServer System.
